11 kph plus faster torso twist and pitch, plus better accel/deccel? Yeah I think it's a good tradeoff. Good CW material IMHO

Just got my first preorder in since I started playing. Have the Viper, Huntsman and Night Gyr on order. Not sure I am ordering another after the PHX. Waiting to see if I happier with those prior to putting more in mech orders.

I have taken my stance with PGI and as hard as it is to pass up the new shiny mech pack of the month, I will not cave in. I am done PGI, no more money from me.
1) Supported the tournament? Check!
2) Bought several Hero Mechs? Check!
3) Bought MC on several occasions? Check!
4) Bought every single clan mech pack until the Kodiak? Check!
5) Refuses to spend more money for PGI? Check!
And as always, this does not apply to the art or modeling guys. You do awesome work on the mechs!

I agree. This chassis is traditionally more squat.

However, there may be sound reasoning for the higher profile in this concept. Time will tell.

And yes, FASA named it Linebacker back in 1991. 'The name for the OmniMech comes from the Linebacker's hunched appearance, which resembles players of ancient American Football.' (clan Wolf Souce Book) though the art has has never looked anything like a NFL/CFL player
